I have a degree in Electronics and communication engineering and masters in software systems from BITS, Pilani. I am a former empolyee of IISc, Bangalore and started this company in 2003 after coming out from IISc.

Techno Science Instruments is specialized in Instrumentation and Science Apparatus fabricator for High Schools, PU Collages, Engineering institutions, universities and Research organizations. Prof. M.S. Hegde who started the training program of high school science teachers in Talent Development Center (TDC), IISc at Challakere campus, had envisioned the idea of teaching science through experiments as it is said Jñānaṁ vijñāna-sahitam, meaning knowledge comes from practical experience. Thus, we came forward to jointly develop science experiment apparatus for as per their specifications. We built these instruments which are being used by TDC, IISc for training Karnataka govt. High school teachers, KREIS teachers, JNV and KV teachers as well as BSc and MSc teachers. We have also supplied these kits to more than 150 high schools and PU colleges.

We are also specialized in manufacturing many scientific research instruments and have supplied to IISc, JNCASR, IIT - Bombay, Kanpur, Guwahati, Bhuvaneshwar, universities and colleges. We have expertise in customized instrumentation design and development of science / engineering experiments. Thus we can be a one-stop solution to all laboratory requirements.

It’s a pleasure to have been associated with Professor M.S. Hegde and Mrs Malati Hegde. Prof. MSH is a retired professor of SSCU, IISc, Bangalore who later served as Convener, Talent Development Centre (TDC), IISc Challakere campus for ten years. He brought the concept of learning science through experiments in TDC and devised a large set of science experiments in physics, chemistry and biology for training teachers from high school, PU, BSc and MSc levels. Dr. Malati Hegde, w/o Prof. MSH, is a distinguished former faculty of ECE, IISc who also served in TDC and brought in sweeping changes in teaching and practicing methodology to solve mathematical problems efficiently at TDC. She wholeheartedly supported in expanding our manufacturing unit in Bangalore. Both have been contributing selflessly and generously as mentors and advisors to our company. They also constantly guide and motivate us, for which we are highly grateful. Their sincere effort combined with honest intention of improving science education has resulted in the development of many new science experiments for high school, PU and BSc.
